For the purposes of this Recruitment Privacy Statement, “IntraCare” is an agency, and means Intra Limited and its employees, including those involved in human resources, recruitment and leadership, who are involved in assessing candidates for roles with us.
IntraCare understands that the privacy of your personal information is important to you. This Statement explains how we meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020, including Information Privacy Principle 3A (IPP3A), when we collect, use, share and retain your personal information as part of our recruitment process. It applies to everyone who applies for, or expresses interest in, a role with IntraCare.
You are responsible for the information you provide to us and must ensure it is honest, accurate and not misleading. If you provide us with information about another person, such as a referee or emergency contact, you are responsible for telling them that you have shared their details with us and that we will handle their information in accordance with this Statement.

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, unauthorised access, use or disclosure. This includes controlling access to candidate records, using secure systems to manage recruitment information, and requiring any third-party providers we work with to protect your information to a standard consistent with the Privacy Act 2020.
If your application is successful, your information forms part of your employment or credentialing record and is retained for as long as required to support your role and to meet our legal and clinical governance obligations.
If your application is not successful, we will retain your information for up to one year following the conclusion of the recruitment process, so that we can respond to any queries and consider you for suitable future roles. After this time, or earlier if you ask us to, we will securely delete your information, unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.
