Dr Peter Ruygrok graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1979, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1986, and a Doctor of Medicine in 2002.
He completed his cardiology training at Greenlane Hospital, earning his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at the renowned Thoraxcenter in Rotterdam.
Dr [Name] is a Consultant Cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital, where he has previously held roles as Clinical Director of Cardiology and Director of Cardiac Services. His clinical and academic interests include interventional cardiology, cardiac transplantation, and cardiovascular research, with more than 180 publications to his name.
He is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Auckland and consults part-time with the Auckland Heart Group.
