Work History

Jamie trained in Cardiology at Tauranga, Middlemore and Auckland City Hospitals. He subsequently underwent sub-speciality training in Pacing and Electrophysiology at Auckland City Hospital and then at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.

His interests are arrhythmia consultation, complex device implantation and atrial fibrillation / ventricular tachycardia ablation. He is employed as a Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Middlemore Hospital and undertakes consultation also at Auckland Heart Group. He undertakes procedures at Middlemore, Auckland City, Intra and Mercy Hospitals.

Areas of interest: 
Cardiac arrhythmia management, cardiac electrophysiology including catheter ablation and cardiac pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators.
