Work History

Miriam graduated from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Medical Imaging where she awarded Carestream Dux Award in Radiography and has since gained more than 10 years’ experience as a medical imaging technologist working primarily interventional radiology and cardiology settings. .

Miriam started her career in Christchurch Public Hospital before working at North Shore Hospital Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Radiology and PACS. Her most recent position at North Shore Hospital was Advanced Interventional Radiology Charge Radiographer. Miriam joined Intra in 2016 appointed to the role of Technical Charge in 2019. Her work focused on leading Intra technical staff and ensuring clinical systems and technology optimised patient outcomes.

More recently, Miriam was appointed the role of Clinical Operations Manager in 2023 and leads the clinical services of Intra. She enjoys working in a dynamic environment where there is opportunity for continuous improvement and innovation that improves patients’ lives.
