Work History
Carl graduated first in his class at Auckland Medical School in 1999. He trained in Vascular Surgery in New Zealand at Christchurch, Waikato and Auckland City Hospitals. He then did an overseas fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
He also has a diploma in diagnostic vascular ultrasound from the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.
He currently works as a Vascular and Kidney Transplant Surgeon at Auckland City Hospital. In private he consults with Vascular Surgical Associates at Gilgit road and operates at Mercy Hospital.
Areas of Interest
His interests include carotid disease, abdominal aortic disease (open surgery and stenting), lower limb arterial disease (open surgery and angioplasty or stenting) and kidney transplantation.
